Isidro Salcedo
Managing Attorney
With over a decade of experience, Mr. Salcedo’s practice focuses on trials and litigation concerning trust and estates, real estate, probate, guardianship and conservatorship, landlord-tenant, commercial, contracts, personal injury, and appeals.

He regularly advises clients on obtaining and protecting inheritance, administering trusts and estates, and navigating the complexities of probate. He also helps friends and family protect their mentally incapacitated loved ones in guardianship and conservatorship cases.
​
Mr. Salcedo frequently advises construction companies, contractors, and investors on contract disputes, liens, unfair trade practices, and regulatory compliance. He also provides guidance to real estate buyers, sellers, brokers, and investors on quiet title, easements, encroachments, adverse possession, and partition. Furthermore, he represents commercial and residential landlords in all aspects of tenant disputes and evictions.

Isidro has a passion for tackling and solving complex legal questions and problems. His appellate practice focuses on helping individuals overturn incorrect and unjust rulings, judgments, and decisions. This work is also carried out through his representation of personal injury clients against large corporations and government entities.

Setting him and us apart from other attorneys and law firms, Mr. Salcedo represents both plaintiffs and defendants, providing him with a unique, unbiased, and objective perspective on cases. This balanced perspective allows him to advise and guide clients through the complexities and challenges of litigation. In fact, this balanced perspective has led many courts to appoint him as guardian ad litem in many different cases, to assist the court in investigating and protecting minors and incapacitated individuals.

Mr. Salcedo has deep ties to Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico. He was born and raised in Doña Ana, and he has lived in Las Cruces for over 34 years. Isidro received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biology from NMSU, followed by a post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institute on Aging. There, he worked toward developing new pharmaceuticals for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases.

Isidro received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. He served as the Executive Perspectives Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property and as the Publicity Director of the Intellectual Property Law Society. In addition, he interned at the MacArthur Justice Center, practicing in the area of civil rights litigation.

Before opening Salcedo & Co., he clerked for Judges Robinson, Quintero, Viramontes, DeLaney, and Hofacket at the Sixth Judicial District Court in Deming, NM. While working at the Court, Mr. Salcedo developed extensive experience in many areas of New Mexico law.
