Ricardo José Peña

After receiving his undergrad at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Ricardo graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. During his time in Texas, Ricardo developed his proficiency in criminal law, which included: Working with the Innocence Project in successfully helping wrongfully convicted juveniles sentenced to life without parole, conducting investigations and assisting investigative agencies in cases involving adult sex crimes and human trafficking, and working as an evidentiary consultant/analyst alongside defense counsel in cases involving capital murder.

 

Ricardo went on to sharpen his experience in civil litigation in South Texas with work involving political corruption litigation against local government entities, contract litigation, defamation actions, property law, and family law.

 

At Salcedo & Company, LLC, Ricardo continues assisting clients with effective legal representation in multiple areas of law including: personal injury, landlord/tenant, construction law, divorce, civil litigation, real estate law, probate, and estate litigation. Ricardo has a working proficiency, spoken and written, in Spanish and French.
